Special Education Teacher at Universal Speech Therapy, Inc.

Universal Speech Therapy, Inc. is seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team. As a Special Education Teacher, you will be responsible for providing small group instruction to elementary students, utilizing various instructional strategies to meet the diverse needs of our students.

Job Expectations:

1. Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the Common Core State Standards
2. Utilize differentiated instruction to support students with diverse learning needs
3. Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
4. Conduct parent conferences and maintain open communication with families
5. Implement classroom management strategies to promote a positive learning environment

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field
• Valid teaching certification in Special Education
• Severe disabilities license
• Experience working with preschool and elementary students
• Knowledge of child development and instructional best practices
• Subseparate classroom
• ABA
• Autism

Pay: $45 per hour
