Job Details
What You Will Be Doing:
- Collaborating in the planning and implementation of IEPs for students.
- Managing the IEP process including goals, objectives, mainstreaming, and related services.
- Conducting academic testing and participating in student evaluations.
- Individualizing programming based on student strengths and weaknesses.
- Carrying out classroom teacher responsibilities (lesson planning, record keeping, etc.).
- Supervising and evaluating program assistants in the classroom.
- Working with general education teachers to support mainstream students.
- Completing required department and state reports to ensure compliance with mandates.
Skills You Need:
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License with a Learning Behavior Specialist I Endorsement
