New Story In-District Services (IDS) partners with local school districts to enhance special education services by providing BCBAs, Teachers, RBTs, and Paraprofessionals within schools. Our mission is to support and empower teachers and paraprofessionals, ensuring optimal outcomes for students with various diagnoses. Through targeted support and professional development, we aim to improve the quality of education and contribute to meaningful improvements across the district.

This role will be working in an elementary school autism support classroom with students from K-5. This individual can be a Autism academic or have experience with verbal behavior.
This is a fulltime, 10 month position - paid for all school holidays and breaks, including summer.
We are offering a salary of 60,000 - 70,000k base salary plus a 5k sign on bonus for this position.

Key Responsibilities:
• Individualized Education Plans (IEPs): Create and follow individualized education plans for our amazing students with special needs.
• Progress Monitoring: Track and assess student progress, adjusting your approach as needed to keep them on track.
• Collaborative Environment: Work with support staff, including paraprofessionals, and parents to build a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
• Student Advocacy: Advocate for our students with disabilities, ensuring compliance with all necessary laws and regulations.
• Inclusive Classroom: Foster a positive, inclusive classroom where every student feels engaged and can succeed.
Qualifications We're Looking For:
• Education Enthusiast: Bachelor's degree in special education or education
• Certified Pro: A valid PA teaching certification in Special Education.
• IEP Guru: Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation.
• Communication Star: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
