Special Education Teacher (SPED) - Contract - Centra Healthcare Solutions, Inc

Centra Healthcare Solutions is seeking an experienced Special Education Teacher (SPED) that is certified in the state of practice to work in a school setting. This is a contract, full time position.

Duties and Responsibilities Include:

• Co-teaching in a gen ed room teaching alongside a gen ed teacher.
• Co-teaching could be in math, ELA, science, social studies, or any combination in 6th to 8th grade settings.
• Actively participate in the design of IEPs.
• Facilitate annual reviews, initial MDCs, and three-year re-evaluation conferences in the district.

Requirements include:

• Illionois PEL with SPED endorsement, or endorsement in Psychology or Social Work.
• Servicing IEP minutes as written in student IEPs, writing IEPs, and attending IEP meetings.
• Background of successful special education experience or assesment experience in the school setting.
• Must have an LBS1 Certificate
