Overview:Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Missouri Department of Corrections.
We are currently seeking a full-time Special Needs Unit (SNU) Coordinator to join our team at Potosi Correctional Center located in Mineral Point, Missouri.
Responsibilities:The Special Needs Unit (SNU) Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative guidance and supervision to clinical and administrative staff and for collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate clinical needs and provide quality behavioral/mental health services within a mental health residential social rehabilitative unit in a correctional setting.
Qualifications:- Masters level degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field from an accredited educational institution is required
- Active professional independent license to practice in applicable state is required (LPC, LCSW, Psychologist)
- Must maintain current tuberculosis documentation is required
- Must have current certification/training in first aid, cardiopulmonary resuscitation(CPR) or basic life support (BLS), automated external defibrillator (AED) use, and use of Narcan is required
- Must be able to pass background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable is required
- Minimum of three years senior supervisory experience in a state or county corrections facility is required
- Minimum of three years behavioral/mental health experience in a correctional and/or mental health residential treatment unit environment is preferred
Monday-Friday, Days, On-call rotation with stipend
