Special Procedures Planner at Redlands Community Hospital

Reporting to the Women's Center Manager this position assists patients for the department as requested by the staff, imaging staff, and physicians. This position assists with a variety of duties in the department, including but not limited to, scheduling patients, verifying orders, checking patient demographics, acquiring lab values before scheduled procedures, and coordinating daily patient work flow. This position is also responsible for scheduling of special procedures with physicians, preparing packets, and coordinating schedules with pharmaceutical reps for implants/pacemaker procedures. This position will also assist with implementation, training, and maintenance of the Chartmaxx electronic paperless scheduling process in imaging services.

• Computer experience preferred
• Medical terminology preferred
• Insurance verification knowledge preferred
• Chartmax experience preferred
