Westgate is seeking a project supervisor to coordinate and oversee a team of crew members. The supervisor will be responsible for training new workers and working closely with property owners and building tenants to coordinate renovation efforts. They will ensure that projects stay on schedule and within the allotted budgets. The ideal candidate should be highly organized and possess excellent time management, leadership, communication, and project management skills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain a construction schedule with project goals in mind.
- Train, supervise, and assign tasks to crew members.
- Consult regularly with property owners, tenants, and other major stakeholders.
- Ensure all renovation projects stay on schedule, remain within the budget, and are completed successfully.
- Delegate responsibilities and tasks to crew members, contractors, and other workers according to priorities and plans.
- Manage team members to ensure the project stays on schedule.
- Ability to read and understand drawings, blueprints, and construction plans.
- Supervise the overall day-to-day performance, coordination, management, and maintenance of the agreed project to ensure maximum productivity, efficiency, quality, service, and profitability for the organization while upholding all aspects of compliance and standards and adhering to budget and prescribed criteria.
- Ensure the team remains focused and delivers key priorities, including but not limited to high-quality provision, high standards of health and safety, and good communication.
- Assist your direct manager as needed.
- Direct workers engaged in maintenance projects, work orders, and preventative maintenance in corporate buildings and other properties and grounds.
- Communicate proactively regarding maintenance issues, processes, and resolutions.
- Possess general knowledge and understanding of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems, including the ability to troubleshoot and identify issues.
- Submit requisitions for tools, equipment, and supplies.
- Inspect completed work for conformance to manufacturer specifications and standards.
- Study production schedules and estimate worker hour requirements for job completion via Hotsos.
- Interpret company policies to workers and enforce safety regulations.
- Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules.
- Suggest changes in working conditions and the use of equipment to increase crew efficiency.
- Analyze and resolve work problems or assist workers in solving work issues.
- Initiate or suggest plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.
- Maintain time and production records.
- Perform activities of supervised workers as needed.
- Be available to work extended hours and weekends when a project requires it.
- Possess unique skills that foster cooperative working relationships and promote a positive image of the department to outside personnel.
- Comply with all CFI policies and procedures.
- Represent CFI in a professional manner through appearance, dress, and behavior at all times, as dictated in the Team Member’s Handbook.
- Work diligently to gain knowledge and experience to execute the role to its full potential.
- Other duties as assigned by Corporate Facilities leadership.
The individual must be energetic, self-motivated, and expressive, with a keen eye for detail. Strong communication skills are necessary to excel in guest and peer relations. The ability to be versatile, work well under pressure, and meet deadlines is essential. A minimum of 2 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a resort or commercial environment is required.

Education and/or Experience
- Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or six months to one year of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2 years of technical training.
- 2 years of experience in engineering/maintenance operations in a resort or commercial environment preferred.
Language Skills
- Must communicate effectively with immediate supervisors and resort leadership.
- Written and verbal communication in English is expected.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- Must have a valid driver's license and be able to be insured under the company’s policy for driving company vehicles.
Mathematical Skills
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to apply concepts such as percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Physical Demands
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit, stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50+ pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
- Fast-paced work environment requiring clear thinking for problem solving while maintaining a positive attitude. This position will frequently interact with resort guests and work closely with others in the department on larger projects, as well as independently on daily tasks.
