Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Care Design and Optimization Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate, facilitate, and lead multidisciplinary teams focused on enhancing healthcare quality and efficiency. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and sustaining best practice care standards across our health system and care continuum. Working closely with clinical, quality, ancillary, analytics, finance, and physician leaders, you will analyze data, investigate potential improvements, and monitor key metrics to ensure that our interventions positively impact quality outcomes and reduce unwarranted care variation and healthcare costs.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and facilitate multidisciplinary teams to implement performance improvements.
Design and sustain best practices in care standards.
Analyze care variation data to support informed decision-making.
Monitor process and outcome measures, ensuring interventions align with quality improvement objectives.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive healthcare quality and cost-effectiveness.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
Master’s degree in a healthcare-related field or MSN preferred.
Licensure/Certification:
Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with current Indiana licensure.
Experience Requirements:
Minimum of two years’ experience in healthcare.
Experience in quality and/or performance improvement preferred.
Public speaking experience preferred.
Additional Skills and Qualifications:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
