Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties as assigned.

Adhere to all JLL / IBM safety requirements, procedures and programs.

Adhere to all JLL / IBM training requirements.

Maintain a safe and clean work environment.

Maintain a “high level” customer satisfaction for all work performed.

Maintain a clean appearance and starting each work day with a clean uniform.

Clean chiller condenser / evaporator tubes as required.

Clean Plate frame heat exchangers as required.

Complete preventive maintenance tasks as assigned.

Assist boiler, refrigeration and operator technicians as required.

Assist engineers with obtaining/analyzing data or other tasks as required.

Availability to work after hours (early morning or late night), weekends and holidays as required.

Occasionally provide 24 hour on-call coverage.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position may involve supervising contractors’ work on occasion.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or general equivalency degree (GED).
• Trade school, industrial or commercial experience.

Skills

• Knowledge and experience with hand tools and test equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret building layouts, system drawings and manufacturers’ equipment specifications.
• Knowledge of standard maintenance practices.
• Basis Computer skills

Language Skills

• Ability to read and comprehend general instructions, short correspondence and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
