The Finance and Operations Analytics Specialist will provide administrative and analytics support for Delta Professional Services (DPS). This position will perform data analysis and support the revenue management processes for the Revenue Management (RM) team and its leaders. This position will interface with the entire organization to ensure alignment with the costs, revenue, and pricing strategies. This role leads initiatives, meetings, and projects to ensure profitability, and strategic goals are met. The Operations and Analytics Specialist assists the GM of Revenue Management and Contracts to provide quantitative recommendations for both financial and operational improvements and manages Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to meet DPS corporate objectives.
This role ensures accurate analysis of critical data necessary for the organization's overall operations. This position will report to the General Manager of Revenue Management and Contracts at Delta Professional Services (DPS), a wholly owned subsidiary of Delta Air Lines.
- Analyzes and processes financial data to make recommendations about operational changes that could improve efficiency or profitability.
- Partners as strategic advisor with operation areas to lead initiatives for design and execution of process improvements.
- Leads the execution of DPS billing and invoicing processes and works actively on improvement opportunities.Supports the pricing strategy definition, execution and updating.
- Collaborates with the production and verification of data for revenue management.
- Proposes and executes initiatives for cost control, analysis, and efficiency.
- Collaborates with the design, implementation, and review of Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
- Supports updating of corporate accounts records and processing compliance requests.

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
- Solid organizational and leadership skills.
- Familiarity with Flight Operations infrastructure.
- Must be able to effectively work with internal and external business partners to drive DPS work.
- Verbal, written and presentation skills.
- Solid computer skills including proficiency with Office 365 and other Delta/DPS software.
- Analytical Skills - Candidate must possess strong technical skills, with a strong emphasis on Excel, PowerPoint, Pivot Tables, and report development tools (SAS, Tableau, Hyperion, etc.).
- A willingness to learn new tools and quickly develop new skills is essential.
- Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Must manage multiple and shifting priorities in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment.
- Must be results-oriented and deliver on commitments.
- Must provide data analysis and make recommendations based on trends.
