Specialist - Information Technology Level 1 - Optima Medical

Optima Medical is an Arizona-based medical group consisting of 18 locations and 90 medical providers, who care for more than 120,000 patients statewide. Our mission is to improve the quality of life throughout Arizona by helping communities “Live Better, Live Longer” through personalized healthcare, with a focus on preventing the nation’s top leading causes of death. We go beyond primary care with a full spectrum of services including cardiovascular health services, behavioral health, in-house lab testing, imaging, chronic disease management and other specialty health services. We are seeking a Level 1 IT Specialist to support our clinical and administrative teams. The ideal candidate will be able to prioritize and balance multiple tasks while working in a demanding environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot minor IT issues; escalate as necessary.
• Assist users in obtaining access to systems.
• Assist with review, evaluation and recommendation of solutions relating to hardware and software acquisitions and/or network updates.
• Assists with the installation, configuration and maintenance of computers, workstations and/or other related equipment and devices.
• Document all issues via a ticketing system.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED; at least 1 year of related experience.
• Experience installing and troubleshooting PC hardware, software and peripherals, LAN/WAN/WLAN, and VOIP phones.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.
• Passion for technology and enthusiasm to learn.
• Ability to commute between our clinics in Yavapai County.

Preferred:

• Previous experience in healthcare.
• Relevant IT certifications or training.
