About the Job
Maximus is seeking a Specialist - Instructional Designer (remote), to join our Team. The Specialist - Instructional Design will work closely with Operations leadership and trainers, to design and develop learning content (e-learning and blended).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design and develop e-learning and blended learning content and ensure future accessibility of training materials.
- Monitor content for consistency, accuracy, clarity, ease-of-navigation and evolving best practices for user experience and interface.
- Design and develop ongoing training materials for system enhancements, releases, initiatives, and workflows.
- Consult with internal stakeholders to identify new requirements and strategies.
- Capture and diagram workflow processes.
- Adjust throughout the project to ensure the successful attainment of the learning and training objectives.
- Manage the development and refinement of data tracking processes.
- Design and develop e-learning and blended learning content and ensure future accessibility of training materials.

- Manage the development and refinement of data tracking processes.
- Working knowledge of Medical and Insurance Terminology.
- Experience reading EOB/Provider remittance.
- Critical thinking and strategic decision making.
- Attention to detail.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study and 3+ years of relevant professional experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Pay Transparency
Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
