We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Metrics and Analytics to join our Internal Audit – Audit Innovation & Analytics team. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA or Lake Mary, FL- HYBRID.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Work with audit teams and fellow Data analysts to design analyses and products that enable auditors to more efficiently and effectively work with firm data and identify potential risk
- Support innovation and design of new tools for the department by understanding the audit lifecycle process
- Develop strategic solutions to aggregate, analyze and visualize data using a variety of technologies
- Gather requirements that help develop web services and web applications to make analytics solutions more accessible
- Help the division understand the tools, approaches and infrastructure available to them
- Assess data quality to understand potential of data sources, limitations or issues
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- 6-8 years experience. Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Analytics.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working in the Data Analytics field with preference for experience in Financial Services- Experience with analytical/statistical/ML programming, particularly within Python, R preferred
- Strong data storytelling skills (written and oral). Ability to explain complex data and findings in a clear and concise manner.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a strong analytical mindset.
- Hands-on experience with SQL programming, Python, R
- Drive and motivate with the ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Preferred experience in designing and implementing GenAI and ML solutions.
- Knowledge of basic statistics (Time Series Analysis, Correlation, Regression) and its application to data
- Preferred experience with any visualization tool (PowerBI, Qlikview, or Tableau)
- Creativity/Innovation. Ability to create new ways to improve current processes and develop solutions that are grounded in reality and have practical value
- Familiarity with AI and ML frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn; Streamlit or R Shiny; experience with GitHub or GitLab
- Preferred experience with natural language processing (NLP), computer vision, and deep learning techniques.
- Preferred experience with LLM frameworks - GPT, Langchain, mistral and hands-on exposure of transformers architecture
