About the Job
Major Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
(50%) Strategic- Work with sales and operations teams to facilitate complete setup of promotions to meet KPIs by:
- Complete update of retailer, wholesaler, manufacturer database
- Continued upkeep of above database
- Promotion letter creation, event setup, ad-hoc sale/ops request completion
(30%) Administrative- Manage internal database of retailers, wholesalers, manufacturers and contacts by:
- Performing accurate data entry of UPCs, new retailers, promotion dates, promotion timeframes
- Generate timely and clear promotion letters capturing all relevant retailer information
- retrieving and leveraging retailer calendars, forecasts and needed reporting to ensure concise communication to Retailers for upcoming promotions
(20%) Serves as Customer Service Support for assigned accounts by:
- Understand the relationships between Manufacturers, retailers and their respective hierarchies
- emailing Sales and Retailers/Manufacturers for additional data needed to complete maintenance setup and promotion letters
- responding timely to inquiries received by clients regarding maintenance
- being collaborative, engaging and working across teams as needed to resolve and close claims and communication gaps
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma required
- Associate, Trade/Technical, or Bachelors preferred or any equivalent combination of training and experience required to complete the essential functions/job responsibilities of this position
- 2-4 years experience in data entry or equivalent experience and training that provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to complete the job responsibilities
- Proficient in G-Suite and MS Suite technology
- Intermediate use/understanding of Excel
- Thorough knowledge and competence in using the technology derived from training and practice
- Experience making situational discriminations that enable recognition of problems and best approaches for solving problems. At this stage, intuitive reactions replace reasoned responses
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple day-to-day tasks and ongoing projects by effectively prioritizing
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, professionally, and with tact and discretion
