Job Purpose:As a vital member of Portfolio Management Analytics – Data & Platform team within the global Institutional Credit Management (ICM) group, you will be at the forefront of designing, developing, and deploying large-scale data solutions that fortify our firm’s risk management strategies
Your expertise will play a crucial role in enhancing our data-driven decision-making processes, ensuring robust and effective risk management across the organization.Job Background/Context:ICM is a critical component of Citi’s First Line of Defense for wholesale and counterparty credit risk management
ICM works with Independent Risk teams to ensure best-in-class risk, controls, and client responsiveness
Key responsibilities of the group include stress testing, exposure monitoring, risk identification, and credit analysis
ICM coordinates with credit management groups across ICG businesses to ensure full alignment on business and regulatory goals, as well as consistency and best practices where appropriate.Responsibilities:Design and deploy big data flows tailored to business needs for Portfolio Health Monitoring, Covenant Monitoring, Exception Management, Limits Management, Early Warning Credit Management, and Counterparty Credit Risk ManagementWork with large and complex data sets, both internal and external, to evaluate, recommend, and support the implementation of credit risk strategies using a variety of programming toolsResponsible for ensuring compliance with all Risk and Control requirements throughout the technical process, including documentation, testing, and ongoing performance monitoringDevelopmental Value:Opportunity to expand your role as the function growsGain extensive knowledge in risk management and financial productsInfluence the strategic direction of the Bank from a risk management perspectiveCollaborate with a diverse and global team of professionals in London, Singapore, and New YorkSkills and Experience:4 plus years of relevant experience in data engineering/ Hadoop development/ advanced analytics/ modelingProven experience working with large and complex data setsExperience with data engineering techniques and tools such as Spark, SQL, Python, Tableau, etcUnderstanding and project experience of data management such as data pipeline, data structure and data quality governanceProficient in Agile project management tools, such as Jira, Bitbucket, and ConfluenceEducation:Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, science, or a related fieldCompetencies:Advanced analytic ability and problem-solving skills to proactively address business questions with innovative data driven solutionsAbility to deploy large complex data processes in a standardized and sustainable manner from inception to implementationEntrepreneurialAbility to present and explain technical informationExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, be organized, detail oriented, flexible and adaptive to work environmentAbility to work independently as well as in a team environment------------------------------------------------------Job Family Group: Decision Management------------------------------------------------------Job Family:Specialized Analytics (Data Science/Computational Statistics)------------------------------------------------------Time Type:Full time------------------------------------------------------Primary Location:New York New York United States------------------------------------------------------Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:$121,200.00 - $181,800.00In addition to salary, Citi’s offerings may also include, for eligible employees, discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards
