- Job Summary
- The position is responsible for organizing, preparing and analyzing financial and clinical information for improved business intelligence related to specialty medications and 340B. Additionally, this position is responsible for providing in-depth financial analysis assistance to our healthcare organizations key decision makers. The Pharmacy Specialty Medication Analyst will manage medication accumulations in split billing software. Will manage specialty medication business, fiscal management, purchasing compliance, and inventory control functions of the systems pharmacies and subsidiaries. Assists in 340b fiscal management and auditing. Assists in defining the specialty medication mission, planning and goal setting, budget preparation and adherence, and performance standards in order to assist in leading the program to the achievement of excellence in fiscal management, compliance and pharmacy practice.

- Education
- Required: Bachelor’s Degree in a Business, Science or Healthcare related field
- Preferred: Healthcare/Science/Business
- Experience
- Required: 3-5 years pharmacy experience
- Preferred: Demonstrated experience with healthcare financial analysis
- Preferred: 340B experience
- Skills
- Systematic problem solving skills and communication skills
- PC skills, including ability to quickly learn new software applications
- Thorough understanding of spreadsheet and database applications
- Licensure/Certification/Registration
- Required: Registered with the Missouri State Board of Pharmacy as a pharmacy technician or application is in process and full registration obtained within 30 days of hire
