Join us, and together, we'll build a brighter and more sustainable futureFor this New York, New York United States-based position, the expected base salary is $130,000 - $140,000.
This position will drive sales of our full line of commercial insulation products by educating, training, and building relationships with architects, developers, building owners, general contractors, installation contractors and distributors to ultimately increase product sales with aggressive pull through techniques. Primary focus is on gaining adoption of our premium insulation product portfolio in the building envelope.
Key Duties Include

Qualifications
Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university plus at least 3 – 5 years of outside business to business sales experience, preferably in the building envelope driving specifications, i.e. insulation, exterior cladding and air vapor barriers; or high school diploma or GED plus 6 -10 years of outside business to business sales experience in building products/insulation; or any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the above knowledge, skills and abilities. Engineering or Architecture experience is a plus.
Must have:
- Demonstrated expertise and success in pull-through sales strategy.
- Exceptional prospecting abilities.
- Capability to establish strong relationships with contractors, architects, and owners.
- Proficiency in technical selling techniques: adept at building robust partnerships and closing sales.
- Competence in reading construction drawings.
- Proficiency in business computer applications, including Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with project lead tools and CRM systems, such as Microsoft Dynamics.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution abilities.
- High efficiency and effectiveness working from a remote home office.
Language Skills: Read and interpret documents such as operating instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write complex reports and correspondence. Must be able to communicate orally and written in English.
Mathematical Skills: Proficiency in calculating figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages. Ability to apply basic algebra and geometry concepts. Accurate forecasting abilities.
Reasoning Skills: Ability to apply common sense to follow instructions provided in written, oral, or diagram form.
Capacity to address problems involving multiple variables in non-standardized situations.
Certificate/License: A valid driver’s license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) is required, in accordance with our Driver Safety, Company Fleet Usage, and Car Allowance Policy.
