Compensation: $44/hour
Location: Brooklyn, NY
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Responsibilities as the Speech Language Pathologist:

Youll assess students' development, provide targeted interventions, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to foster student progress.

Responsibilities as the Speech Language Pathologist:
- Assessments: Conduct evaluations to determine speech and language needs, providing summaries and recommendations for educational and regulatory agencies.
- Interventions: Design and implement speech and language therapy interventions tailored to individual student goals.
- Progress Monitoring: Evaluate student progress through established testing procedures and provide updates to regulatory agencies and team members.
- Support: Assess oral motor skills, develop treatment plans for identified needs, and provide training on AAC devices as appropriate.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate attendance records, therapy notes, and progress reports, and communicate regularly with parents and team members.
- Education: Masters Degree in Speech and Language Pathology.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of Speech Therapy experience required.
- Licensure: Current NY State license in Speech and Language Pathology required.
- Certification: Must have ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competency.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in AAC techniques, Assistive Technology, and Picture Exchange Communication (PEC).
- Skills: Strong organization, communication, independence, and confidentiality in diverse settings.
- Additional: NYSED TSSH Certification (required for bilingual therapists).
