About the Job
We are seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide speech therapy services to individuals with communication disorders, helping them improve their speech and language skills.
Duties
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to diagnose speech, language, and swallowing disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs
- Provide therapy to improve communication, articulation, fluency, and voice quality
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, educators, and families to implement treatment goals
- Maintain detailed records of patient progress and treatment outcomes
- Stay current on advancements in the field of speech-language pathology
Skills
- Strong care and compassion for patients
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to speech and swallowing
- Experience with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Familiarity with acute care settings and case management
- Proficiency in speech therapy techniques and medical terminology
