Immediate opening for a Speech-Language Pathologist in a school setting to provide comprehensive speech-language pathology services. Join our team and contribute to the crucial development of communication skills in young learners.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language disorders in elementary-age students.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address speech and language goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment.
- Provide direct services, as well as consultative support, to enhance communication skills in classroom settings.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting intervention strategies as needed.
- Participate in IEP meetings.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid state licensure and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association) Certification.
- Previous experience working in the schools is preferred, but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
