About the Job
Kona Medical Consulting is looking for SLPs to provide speech therapy services to students. This position is under the US Healthcare Services client in Lehigh and/or Northampton County, PA
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate the speech and language abilities of patients
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with communication disorders
- Provide therapy sessions to improve speech, language, and swallowing skills
- Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding communication strategies and techniques
Qualifications:
- Valid state (PA) license or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist or CFY
- Previous experience in a clinical or educational setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders and their treatment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Reimbursement:
$85/hr
Once approved to provide services, SLPs choose their hours and specific referrals. There is never an obligation to take a certain number of referrals.
