A Skilled Nursing Facility in Haverstraw, NY is currently seeking a SLP to join their growing team.
About the Opportunity:
- Start Date: ASAP
- Assignment Length: Contract (18 weeks)
- Schedule: Monday - Friday
- Hours: 9am - 5pm
Responsibilities:
The Speech Language Pathologist will:
- Administer Speech Therapy evaluations & examinations to diagnose residents & develop treatment plans.
- Monitor residents' progress and adjust treatments accordingly.
- Record information on the initial evaluation, treatment, progress, and discharge of clients.
- Observe and assess the progress & prepare detailed reports.
Qualifications:
- A graduate of an accredited SLP Program
- Current New York State SLP License
Desired Skills:
- Experience working in a Skilled Nursing Facility, Assisted Living Facility, or a Long Term Care facility.
