Speech Language Pathologist

AB Staffing is looking for an experienced Speech Language Pathologist that is available for the 2024/2025 school year.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology/Communication Disorders from an accredited institution.
• Oregon teaching license with Speech Impaired or Communications Disorder Endorsement and/or a State of Oregon Speech-Language Pathology License.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-Speech) preferred.
• Preferably 1 year of school experience with strong classroom management skills.
• BLS/CPR Cert.
• Positive, energetic, and compassionate approach to education.

Job Description:

• Caseload and details of position/classroom type will differ based on school location
  • Recruitment Specialists can discuss in detail upon application to connect you to the classroom and best suits your experience and skillset
• In-person openings in Elementary, Middle, and High Schools.
• Contract through the 2024/2025 school year – 37.5 to 40 hours per week
• Contract follows the academic district calendar
• Full-time, in person

Position Overview: Provide speech and language therapy services to help students improve communication and learning skills.

Essential Functions:

• Identify students needing specialized speech or language services and provide tailored solutions for academic success.
• Conduct individual and group therapy using curriculum-based materials and provide progress reports.
• Supervise support staff, consult with educators, and provide alternative communication systems.
• Create engaging learning environments and promote social, physical, and intellectual growth.
• Explore individual learning needs, develop personalized solutions, and implement curriculum goals.
• Model mature behavior, uphold values, and encourage character development.

Salary:

• Starting at $60-$61/hr.
