Speech Language Pathologist - Boston Speech Therapy

Boston Speech, a woman and speech therapist-owned organization, is seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at a middle school. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a crucial role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating individuals with communication and swallowing disorders. You will work closely with patients of all ages to improve their communication skills, facilitate language development, and enhance their overall quality of life. Your expertise will make a significant impact on the lives of those you serve. This position is full time and has a competitive rate $65-$70/HR.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and diagnose individuals with communication and swallowing disorders
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans
• Provide therapy sessions to improve speech and language skills
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create a comprehensive care plan
• Educate patients and their families on strategies for improving communication at home
• Keep accurate and organized records of patient progress

Requirements

• A master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid state licensure or certification as a speech-language pathologist
• Previous experience working with diverse populations and age groups
• Strong knowledge of assessment and diagnostic techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting
• Proficiency in utilizing specialized software and technology related to speech-language pathology
