Job Overview
As a Registered Behavior Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing behavioral therapy services to individuals, particularly children, under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Responsibilities
- Implement behavior intervention plans designed by the BCBA
- Collect data on observable client behavior
- Assist in the development of care plans and treatment goals
- Conduct one-on-one therapy sessions with clients
- Collaborate with families and caregivers to ensure consistency in implementing treatment strategies
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records following HIPAA guidelines
Skills
- Proficiency in medical terminology, records, and documentation
- Knowledge of behavioral therapy principles and techniques
- Familiarity with applied behavior analysis (ABA)
- Experience working with children or individuals with behavioral health needs
- Ability to assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Understanding of care plans and treatment protocols
- Adherence to HIPAA regulations for client confidentiality
