Imagine a workplace where your professional growth is as important as the care you provide. Straka Pediatric Therapies isn't just a job-it's a fun, exciting, and rare opportunity to grow your career in a positive and dynamic environment. Here's why Straka stands out:
- Diverse Caseload: Opportunity to work with a wider range of pediatric conditions and developmental needs, offering more variety and a chance to work within your specialty.

- Professional Growth: More opportunities for specialized training, continuing education, and certification in specific pediatric therapy areas (e.g., feeding therapy, sensory integration).
- Ability to Work Closely with Parents: Outpatient settings allow therapists to work directly with parents, involving them and other family members in the treatment plan and helping them understand how to support their child's progress at home fostering better long-term outcomes.
- Access to More Resources: Clinics often provide access to more advanced therapeutic equipment and resources tailored for pediatric care.
- Less Paperwork: While both settings involve documentation, clinics often have streamlined systems with less bureaucracy than school districts, allowing therapists to focus more on direct patient care.
- Interdisciplinary Teamwork: Clinics often promote a collaborative environment and opportunity for co-treat with various specialists (e.g., PT, OT) working together, enhancing overall patient care and professional development.
- Flexible Scheduling: Opportunity to work weekends for those who need to be home more during the week.
