About the Job
Adecco Healthcare is searching for a Speech Language Pathologist to become part of our client's team in Rochester, NY. This is a direct-hire, full-time or part-time, and permanent opportunity.
Pay
$51,500-$78,000
Available Openings
- 1 Speech Pathologist - Preschool Program (3-5 years old)
- 1 Speech Pathologist - School Program (6-21 years old)
- Positions are open to fellows with teaching certifications.
Shift
- Full-Time: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm.
- Part-Time: Also available if candidate cannot be Full-Time (whatever hours candidate can work).
- No on-call.
- No weekends.
- 100% onsite.
Job Summary
- Flexible service delivery model utilized.
- Provide developmental speech and language programming for students.
- Conduct individual and small group therapy sessions.
- Develop receptive and expressive language programs for classroom implementation.
- Evaluate and implement augmentative communication systems.
- Consult and train staff on therapy techniques and classroom integration.
- Assess speech, language, and social development using formal/informal methods.
- Collaborate with parents on home programming for language and communication needs.
- Participate in interdisciplinary evaluations and goal-setting.
- Maintain accurate records and report on student progress.
- Evaluate and implement oral-motor/feeding programs for students with disabilities.
Qualifications
Required:
- Master's degree (M.A./M.S.) in Speech Pathology.
- NY State License.
- Special Education background.
- 2-4 years of related experience and/or training.
- If a Clinical Fellow without certifications, must have Teaching Certification.
Preferred:
- ASHA certification (CCC).
