A skilled Nursing Facility has an immediate need for a Speech Language Pathologist
Type: HC-Contract/ Temp
Location: Shrewsbury, NJ
Responsibilities:
Speech-Language Pathologist provides comprehensive speech therapy evaluations as per MD orders.
SLP / ST Provides a comprehensive treatment plan including long and short-term goals, frequency, duration and treatment modalities, therapeutic interventions, and clinical and technical guidelines.
Ensures MD orders are obtained for evaluations, treatments, recertifications, and discharges.
SLP / ST provides comprehensive treatment to patients utilizing modalities, modifying patient treatment as indicated, and adhering to precautions.
Speech-Language Pathologist completes all documentation requirements.
Instruct, educate and train patients and caregivers in the skills and functions essential for promoting patient independence and productivity, in order to diminish or correct
Requirements:
Holds current license and/or registration in the state NJ
Minimum of 1 year experience working in a short-term and/or Long-term rehab
Must have 1 year experience in SNF
Graduate of an accredited university with an MA, or M.S. in communication disorders that is recognized by ASHA and state board
