Join our client in the Bronx, NY, as a Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) providing therapy services to students aged 3-21 with visual and multiple disabilities. Compensation: $55 - $60/hour
Location: Bronx, NY
Schedule: Monday to Friday (On-Site)
Responsibilities as the Speech and Language Pathologist:
Join our client in the Bronx, NY, as a Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) providing therapy services to students aged 3-21 with visual and multiple disabilities. In this role, you will deliver individualized or small group therapy, fostering success and independence in communication while collaborating with the educational team.

Responsibilities as the Speech and Language Pathologist:
- Therapy Services: Provide direct speech/language intervention to students, structured to meet IEP goals and promote functional communication.
- Record Keeping: Maintain records of student progress and mandated documentation.
- Evaluations: Perform evaluations and hearing screenings, making appropriate referrals and recommendations.
- Collaboration: Work as part of an interdisciplinary team to integrate therapy into classroom settings and support staff with feeding interventions.
- Communication: Offer consultation to parents and collaborate with the educational team to implement IEP goals.
- Education: Masters Degree in Speech/Language Pathology required.
- Licensure: New York State Certification as a Teacher of Speech and Language Disabilities and a valid NYS Speech/Language Pathologist license.
- Experience: Preferred experience in school/pediatric settings with special needs, blindness, and multiple disabilities.
