JOB SUMMARY:
The ideal candidate will assess and treat a range of communication disorders using telepractice methods, collaborating with educators and parents to create individualized treatment plans. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, delivering therapy sessions via video conferencing, maintaining documentation, and participating in IEP meetings. The SLP will be committed to supporting students’ communication needs in a flexible, engaging manner.

2024-2025 School Year
Location: Granite Falls, WA
Start date: 11/5/2024
Contract through the 2024/2025 school year – 35 to 40 hours per week
Contract follows the academic district calendar
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech Pathology, Speech Audiology, Communications Disorders, or similar program.
- Must have valid WA Speech-Language Pathologist License/Certification.
- Washington State Educational Staff Associate Certification (ESA).
- BLS/CPR Certification.
Essential Functions:
- Identify students needing specialized speech or language services and provide tailored solutions for academic success.
- Conduct individual and group therapy using curriculum-based materials and provide progress reports.
- Supervise support staff, consult with educators, and provide alternative communication systems.
- Create engaging learning environments and promote social, physical, and intellectual growth.
- Explore individual learning needs, develop personalized solutions, and implement curriculum goals.
- Model mature behavior, uphold values, and encourage character development.
