About the Job
AB Staffing is looking for an experienced SLP / Speech Language Pathologist that is available for the 2024/2025 school year.
SLP / Speech Language Pathologist Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Communication Disorders, Speech, or Speech Audiology.
- Must possess or be eligible for a Speech Language Pathologist License in the State of Massachusetts.
- Hold, or be able to obtain, ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Positive, energetic, and compassionate approach to education.
- Experience working with children and adolescents in a school setting required.
Pay:
- $65 to $80/hr.
- $2,600 to $3,200/week based on 40 hours.

SLP / Speech Language Pathologist Position Overview: Provide speech and language therapy services to help students improve communication and learning skills.
- Location(s): Lee, MA
- Population: Pre-K, Elementary, Middle, & High School Settings
- Contract through the 2024/2025 school year
- Contract follows the academic district calendar - 37.5 to 40 hours per week.
SLP / Speech Language Pathologist Essential Functions:
- Identify students needing specialized speech or language services and provide tailored solutions for academic success.
- Conduct individual and group therapy using curriculum-based materials and provide progress reports.
- Supervise support staff, consult with educators, and provide alternative communication systems.
- Create engaging learning environments and promote social, physical, and intellectual growth.
- Explore individual learning needs, develop personalized solutions, and implement curriculum goals.
- Model mature behavior, uphold values, and encourage character development.
