One of our client is seeking for a Speech Language Pathologist
Type: Perm
Schedule: Full-Time, Day shift: Monday to Friday
Location: Pennsylvania
Responsibilities:
• Assess students using standardized and non-standardized assessments.
• Read, analyze and interpret educational documentation.
• Develop IEP goals based on assessment information.
• Facilitate and implement IEP goals as part of a comprehensive treatment plan.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to write goals and implement therapy plans.
• Effectively write reports and communicate information to parents and team.
• Attend team meetings, planning meetings, and IEP meetings.
• Collect data and analyze data for progress monitoring.
• Complete all paperwork in a timely fashion and according to state regulations.
• Develop a schedule of individual and group therapy sessions.
• Act as a coach to other team members.
• Keep all state certifications and CEU's active and in compliance.
• Perform other job-related activities at the request of a supervisor.
Required Knowledge:
• Knowledge of approved principles, state regulations, professional ethics, and evidencebased therapy practices used in the field of speech-language pathology.
• Knowledge of school-based practices, including curriculum and methodologies related
to classroom learning.
• Knowledge of educational records, including timelines for RR's, IEP's, practitioner logs,
and essential school-based documents.
• Knowledge of a variety of assessment tools used to evaluate students with complex
physical and cognitive needs.
• Knowledge of all state certifications and required continuing education
• Knowledge of basic computer technology
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree
• Master's degree in communication Disorders or equivalent
• PA State License
• Level II Teacher Certification
