Ideal Candidate: We are looking for a qualified licensed Speech Language Pathologist to help us with pediatric patients dealing with speech disorders, swallowing therapy, and hearing impairments that affect a patient's communicative ability.
Speech Language Pathologist Qualifications:
- Master’s degree from an accredited Speech Language Pathology program
- License from the State of Texas as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Valid Texas Driver’s License
- Experience in the home care setting is preferred but not required.
- Pediatric experience is preferred but not required.
- Feeding therapy experience is preferred but not required.
Speech Language Pathologist Responsibilities:
● Assessment of prior and current levels of functioning.
● Setting appropriate goals.
● Provides therapeutic treatments for speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
with appropriate tests and measurements.
● Provides services that are ordered by the physician as indicated in the plan of
care.
● Making appropriate discharge recommendations in accordance with standards of practice.
