Speech Pathologist, Per Diem, OP Peds - Atlantic Health System

Atlantic Health System is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated per diem Speech Pathologist with pediatric experience to join our dynamic team of healthcare professionals in Morristown.

The responsibilities of the Team Member will be:

 

• Work within a team of outpatient pediatric rehabilitation specialists seeing pediatric patients including NICU follow-up patients on a weekly basis.
• Evaluate pediatric outpatients for speech-language and swallowing/feeding difficulties.
• Design and carry out SLP plan of care based on findings and evidence based practice.
• Document and drop appropriate charges on all patient interactions and confidently navigate the electronic medical record.
• Provide patient/family/caregiver education as indicated.
• Ensure customer satisfaction as well as quality of care and patient safety.
• Communicate/collaborate with other Rehab professionals, physicians, nurses, case managers, social workers.
