About the Job
Our family owned and operated long term care facilitator is seeking a compassionate and well versed Speech Therapist for consideration to add to the inhouse therapy team a midsize facility situated in Northern Colorado, amongst Larimer County. This building is home to a diverse group of long-term residents, cared for by seasoned staff with low staffing ratios, who are stewarded by a well-equipped clinical team and Administrator with years of experience in the geriatric field.

Pay Range: $45-50
ST-Job Description: The primary purpose of this position is to plan, organize, develop, and direct our facility's Speech Therapy Services in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, regulations to assure that the highest degree of quality care can be always maintained
ST- Job Duties and Responsibilities:
· Develop and implement individualized therapy programs designed to restore, reinforce and enhance performance.
· Facilitate the learning of those skills and functions essential for communication and swallowing, to diminish or remediate disorders of deficits.
· Directs activities to promote and maintain health, within the scope of practice and consistent with the Code of Ethics of the profession
· Identify need for and make referral to other disciplines to address the comprehensive needs of the patient.
ST- Education/Certifications:
· Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
· Current state licensure or in the process of licensure in this state
· Current basic Life Support certification in accordance state regulations
· Must be clinically driven, dependable, and self motivated
· Can adjust with changes in medical field with according to CDC guidelines.
ST-Experience and Specific Requirements:
· Should have as a minimum, 1 year experience in a skilled nursing facility, preferred
· Must possess the ability to make independent decisions, follow instructions and accept constructive criticism
· Must possess leadership ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with other personnel.
· Must possess good judgement and can maintain highly confidential information.
· Must be knowledgeable of HIPAA compliance and requirements.
