Responsibilities:
- The position is for a solution builder who can roll-up-sleeves when needed to tackle big deal issues impacting the platform.
- Push configurations and updates to multiple Splunk Enterprise instances via the Splunk Deployment Server
- Establish and Monitor the performance of Splunk via best practices and taking the business needs into account
- Standardized Splunk agent deployment, configuration and maintenance across a variety of platforms using multiple configuration management systems
- Drive projects for internal Splunk team and users of Splunk across the company, including complex migrations and custom ingestion solutions.
Qualifications:
- Comprehensive hands-on experience with Splunk (platform/infrastructure)
- Knowledge of scripting (SH, BASH, KSH, PowerShell, etc.)
- Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible/Chef), IaC, and source code management tools (i.e. – git)
