Salary Range: $50.00 - $70.00 per hour

Responsibilities

Client Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of clients' physical conditions to determine the best massage techniques for their individual needs.

Treatment Planning: Develop personalized treatment plans that address specific sports-related injuries or muscle tension.

Massage Techniques: Perform various massage techniques, including deep tissue, sports, and Swedish massage, tailored to the client's requirements.

Client Education: Educate clients on proper stretching techniques, posture, and aftercare to enhance their recovery and performance.

Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of client treatments and progress to ensure continuity of care with SOAP notes.

Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, such as physical therapists and trainers, to provide comprehensive care.

Professional Development: Participate in ongoing professional education to stay updated with the latest advancements in sports massage therapy.

Certification: Must hold a valid Massage Therapy License (LMT) in Michigan.

Experience: Previous experience in sports massage or related therapy is highly preferred.

Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to connect with clients and understand their needs.

Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and stand for extended periods.
