Job Title: SQA 3 & 4
Location: Charlotte, NC and San Francisco, CA
Position type: 18 months - Contract
Rate: Market/DOE
Basic Qualifications
• 3+ years IT quality assurance and systems/application testing experience
Minimum Qualifications
• 3+ years' experience in creating test plans, test design, test script, and test automation
• 3+ Client/Server systems testing or Front End Channel testing
• 3+ years strong usage of Client / Mercury Quality Center (requirements, test plan, test lab, and defect modules)
• 2+ years' experience in working in a financial institution, with knowledge of how customers and accounts are setup.
• 2+ years' experience in utilizing XML for SOAP validation and troubleshooting
Preferred Qualifications
• 1+ year experience with Mainframe (CICS) – data manipulation/creation
• 1+ year Financial QA background dealing with opening/closing customer accounts (checking savings, debit cards, safe box, and etc.)
• 3+ years Client/Server systems testing or Front End Channel testing
Responsibilities:
• Partnering with our application development teams to clarify requirements and identify risks and incompatibilities with design to ensure certification of code with quality.
• Lead testing discussions with partners to resolve testing challenges and provide solutions to complex test problems.
• Work with clients to establish and maintain a consistent test methodology to resolve questions during the testing process.
• May serve as a coordinator for all testing activities on a project, including organizing activities with other testers and outlining dependencies from development
• Analyze, test, and certify application-specific software and perform ambiguity reviews of business requirements and use cases and functional specification documents.
• Participate in planning and directing testing milestones/schedules and assignments, and monitoring project status in comparison to cost/time projections.
• Log, track, and verify resolution of software and specification defects.
• Document all phases of QA process.
