Position Title: SQL Analyst
Location: Columbus, OH (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
Employment Type: W2 only (Nearby candidates preferred)

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced SQL Analyst with a strong Business Analyst background to join our team in Columbus, OH. This role requires advanced SQL expertise, coupled with knowledge of the Genetec Video Management System (VMS). The SQL Analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams to support data analysis needs, optimize workflows, and provide insights for data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize advanced SQL skills to manage, analyze, and interpret large datasets.
• Develop and maintain SQL queries, reports, and dashboards to support business operations and analytical needs.
• Act as a Business Analyst to gather requirements, define data needs, and document business processes.
• Leverage Genetec Video Management System (VMS) knowledge to support data extraction and reporting for security and surveillance applications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to provide insights, resolve data discrepancies, and ensure data accuracy.
• Identify opportunities to streamline and automate data-related tasks and improve reporting efficiency.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an SQL Analyst or Business Analyst with advanced SQL capabilities.
• Strong knowledge of Genetec Video Management System (VMS) or similar video management software.
• Ability to create and manage complex SQL queries and develop reports based on specific business requirements.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and a strong commitment to data integrity.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in data analysis or business intelligence within security, surveillance, or similar domains.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
