JOB DESCRIPTION:
- 8+ years of data analysis, reporting, analytics, or modeling experience
- 8+ years of recent SQL development experience (2008R2,2012)
- 7+ years of recent MSBI development experience (SSIS,SSRS,SSAS)
- Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft TFS, SQL Server SSMS, SSIS, SQL Agent, SSAS, SSRS & BI Tools, SharePoint Site Development & Management
- The applicant must be able to think outside the box and will lead the development of new analytical/reporting/data correlation and data harvest techniques.
- The applicant will spearhead the development of analytical/reporting strategies for Wholesale BI initiatives
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to articulate issues, risks, and proposed solutions to various levels of staff and management
- Knowledge and understanding of Metadata
- Knowledge and understanding of data analysis: business analysis and data requirement gathering
- Knowledge and understanding of report creation and report validation processes
- Experience delivering results in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
- Expertise in data warehouse in all aspects of the project life cycle
- Demonstrated ability to positively influence, motivate and direct a diverse team to emphasize individual and group strengths
- Proven ability to collaborate with others, initiate action plans, manage change, make high impact decisions and complete challenging assignments
- Excellent problem solving and analytic capabilities utilized to identify root cause issues/improvement opportunities, and designing approaches/programs to address those issues
- Ability to translate business requirements into technology solutions
