Job Description

he ETL (Extract-Transform-Load) Developer will be part of a data and business intelligence team that develops full lifecycle data analytics applications. This individual will be responsible for all tasks related to the data integration activities to include performing analysis of source systems, source-to-target mapping, designing data integration routines, assisting with data modelling, developing data migration scripts, and performing testing. The ETL developer will primarily work in a Microsoft based environment using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) as the primary ETL tool.

• Expertise in handling complex SQL queries
• Experience in creating complex packages
• Knowledge in Scheduling and scripting of the packages
• Excellent knowledge in Debugging and tracing errors in execution.
• Experience with Data warehousing concepts
• Good knowledge on Data modelling concepts
• Excellent communication skills.
• The SSIS- ETL Developer will be responsible for design and development of BI solutions, update of data analytics platforms
• A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality BI solutions development is essential

Job Responsibilities

• Translate business needs to technical specifications
• Evaluate and improve existing SSIS projects
• Take ownership of SSIS projects
• Proficient in T-SQL coding: query writing, stored procedures, triggers and user-defined functions.
• Create SSIS packages with best practices, error handling, logging
• Able to troubleshoot SSIS errors by running and analysing underlying database queries
• Create visualizations and business intelligence reports for client projects using Power BI
• Take care of end-to-end project execution for clients

Must have

• Must have strong extensive experience in SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
