Responsibilities
- Write complex ANSI SQL queries against a MySQL database
- Create, manage and optimize views and stored procedures
- Create and manage database tables, properties, meta data, etc.
- Debug and manage database related issues
- Create sample data
- Create documentation for the development team to interact with the database to
- perform transactions
- React quickly to emerging customer requirements and technologies. Ability to
- Anticipate future needs and design with reusability in mind.
- Ensure quality in the production of data assets.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline
- 10+ years of IT experience with 5+ years of hands-on experience in SQL development.
- Highly experienced in writing complex ANSI SQL queries – required
- Strong Data modeling experience from conceptual to logical and physical – required
- Experience with data modeling tools, e.g. Erwin – required
- Strong relational database knowledge/experience with MySQL v5.7+ is required
- Experience working with Linux – required
- Experience with FTP – required
- Development experience with Node JS / JavaScript – nice to have
