Expert OLTP Database Architect/Developer (OLTP) aids our project by being an implementer and writing advanced, efficient T-SQL which is backed by expertise honed while designing and building OLTP applications (such as real-time user-oriented web applications). A design mindset will be an important asset to help us create the best products for our customers.
10+ years' experience - Knowledge: Expertise in Relational Data Modeling and Stored Procedure development. Strong planning, organizational, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work as part of a project team which possesses a wide range of skills. Skills: SQL Server, T-SQL, Visio, Power Designer, XML, C#
Analyzes, designs, develops, and supports all major information systems. Is involved in determining the strategic direction of systems; determines the protocols tools, languages, and databases to be used; and understands how all data, applications and hardware functions and interact. Is involved in all major systems development and re-engineering efforts. Provides applications and administration expertise in multiple areas, including UNIX-based servers, relational databases. LAN/WAN architectures, and other similar environments.

Job Description
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- At least 8 years of experience with developing and implementing OLTP database applications on the Microsoft SQL Server platform
- At least 6 years of data modeling experience
- At least 4 years of advanced development experience and performance tuning with T-SQL in Microsoft SQL server 2005+
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in full-life cycle software development, preferably with experiences in developing multi-tiered enterprise applications with Microsoft technologies
- Experience or high desire to work in a Agile / Scrum development methodology
- Experience with T-SQL transaction locking and concurrency handling
- Experience with TFS and Visual Studio
- Proven track record of working in a fast-paced, time-sensitive project that requires clear and timely communication, balancing priorities, and going above and beyond the requirement of the role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to learn quickly and an expert problem solver
- Experience with designing and maintaining SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) packages is a plus
- Experience with SQL Service Broker is a plus
- Experience with .NET C# is a plus
- Experience with Powershell is a plus
