Job Description:
Hiring an experienced onsite test manager, with Charles River asset management experience. This resource will be managing a complex Charles River upgrade project (version 9.1 to 9.8). The project will involve many application teams and applications. It is expected that this resource will have extensive test management experience as well as banking and asset management experience. Resource must be detail oriented, task oriented and be a pro-active leader for the team. This is a complex project with significant implications to the bank and project requires a go-getter to accomplish the project and testing goals, and schedule.
• Trading Life Cycle and/or financial domain experience required.
• 3+ years Charles River experience
• 5+ yrs or equivalent experience managing complex upgrade testing efforts.
• 5+ years Asset Management experience
• 10+ years Banking experience
• Knowledge of Test Management with ALM is required.
• Experienced test manager that can coordinate with numerous application teams
o Experience writing test strategy
o Experience writing test plan
o Experience documenting detailed status
o Experience managing resources and schedules in an onsite/nearshore/offshore team environment
• Great Presentation/Communication skills - ability to communicate with all levels of management and tailoring communication to the audience
• Experience creating estimates for testing across SIT, UAT, Automation and Performance test phases.
• Some experience with Automation concepts, enabling applicable benefit recognition and promotion of opportunities for such.
Skills:
Qualified candidates experienced in any or all of the following are preferred:
• Database/Oracle validation
• UI interface validation
• DataStage
• Message queue validation
