About the Job
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or analytical discipline, or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of experience designing, implementing, supporting, and migrating core VMware technologies including vCenter, ESXi, VSAN and NSX
- 2+ years of experience implementing and supporting VMware Cloud Foundation product stack.
- 4+ years of experience implementing, supporting, and migrating Windows Server & Red Hat operating systems in a highly segmented and secure virtual infrastructure.
- 4+ years of experience with various hardware vendor product stack
- 3+ years of experience leading medium to large projects from requirements through implementation
- 2+ years of experience with Infrastructure Automation using scripts and tools such as PowerShell, Terraform and Ansible.
Preferred Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience designing, implementing, supporting, and migrating core VMware technologies including vCenter, ESXi, VSAN and NSX
- Experience with various infrastructure platform management tools, such as vCenter, HPE OneView, DELL Open Manage, VMware Skyline, etc.
- Experience designing, implementing, and supporting VMware Cloud Foundation product stack such as Aria, vROPS, vRLI, SDDC, LCM, vIDM, SRM, and vRNI.
- Experience implementing, supporting, and migrating Windows Server & Red Hat operating systems in a highly segmented and secure virtual infrastructure.
- Experience in managing, capacity planning, supporting, and migrating guest virtual machines of various guest operating systems.
- Experience with platform-related dependencies to include server, containers, NAS/SAN, hyperconverged solutions, core network design concepts, and hybrid cloud solutions.
- Experience in developing, maintaining, and executing operational automation technologies, such asVRA, Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Orchestrator or SCCM OS Deployments
- Good understanding of traditional waterfall Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC), SCRUM, and Agile methodologies
