The Wholesale team works with our customers one-on-one, developing professional relationships based on trust and care.

GENERAL FUNCTION

The Sr. Account Manager acts as the sunglass category leader with buying teams that maximizes penetration of Luxottica’s portfolio in accordance with licensor guidelines for distribution. The Sr. Account Manager is responsible for the team’s achievement of annual sales quotas and cost of sales goals in the Off-Price accounts. Leads project timeline to meet both customer and internal partner expectations on brand. Focus on building internal and external relationships and trust.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Achieves annual wholesale goals, as specified in the Annual Incentive Plan and the Annual Performance Objectives.
• Understands, communicates and drives the Luxottica portfolio strategic direction with assigned customers.
• Works strategically with internal partners on developing a product strategy
• Partners with the client in using sophisticated reporting metrics to drive customer portfolio.
• Comes up with solutions to complex problems around distribution and product limitations
• Negotiates deals and pricing both internally and externally.
• Identifies, customizes and optimizes specific brand and product opportunities for client through collaborations and input with the buyer and brand teams.
• Partners with internal departments including brand management, product, finance, supply chain, sales operations etc. to develop and drive client’s eyewear strategies.
• Partners with brand managers and line planners to relay business trends/opportunities and voids within client’s assortments to devise strategies for continued growth.
• Manages store inventory with client’s buyer.
• Acts as a collaborative contributor to the team sharing account insight, feedback and solutions to create a better experience internally and externally for all who interface with Luxottica.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• +7 years retail experience
• Managing off-price customers
• Working I in highly matrixed organizations
• Fashion/eyewear industry experience
• Knowledge of merchandising, management and retail sales
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales, marketing
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
• Results oriented with strong strategic sales approach
• Ability to develop and maintain key management relationships ; builds business trust and earns confidence with key partners
• Effective project management skills and strong organization/time management
• Demonstrated ability to succeed in a complex environment
• Well informed of industry trends and able to speak knowledgeably and confidently about the eyewear industry

​Pay Range: 130,956.37  - 210,864.90 

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first-class total rewards package. Benefits may include health care, retirement savings, paid time off/vacation, and various employee discounts.
