About the Job
Seeking a Senior Accountant who will help develop, implement, and/or maintain one or a combination of general accounting systems.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Prepares journal entries, maintains, and reconciles ledger accounts.
Manages record of assets, liabilities, and other financial transactions.
Balances books and prepares profit and loss, income, and balance sheet statements.
Oversee company receipts and disbursement reports.
Prepare federal, state, and local reports and tax returns if applicable.
Analyze and interpret reports and records for managers.
Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors.
Handles broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criterion for obtaining results, and resolves problems.
Education:
Typically a bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
CPA Preferred.
