Sr. Accountant
Responsible for support of Controller in general accounting activities including accounting entries, account reconciliation, account analysis, and collection and reporting of data to local and Group management. The position will oversee quality assurance, quality control, and customer service regarding the invoicing process; ensure adherence to proper invoicing procedures; and interpret and clarify invoicing policies.

Your Challenges
+ Responsible for the review and processing of invoices. Review sales, distribution and marketing agreements to identify accounting issues and to monitor compliance with the company's revenue recognition policies.
+ Lead cross functional efforts and training with groups outside of corporate accounting, including contracts, sales and finance to insure all sources of revenue are properly reviewed for accounting purposes and processed on a timely basis.
+ Identify and promote invoicing and revenue recognition best practices/process improvement. Support audit activities and be the main point of contact for all revenue cycle testing and explanations.
+ Coordinate the monthly close.Prepares, verify and control the entering of journal entries to the general ledger.
+ Reviews supporting schedules to ensure company’s accounting practices are being maintained, i.e. insurance, fixed assets and prepaid.
+ Cash management of all (2) corporate accounts. To include posting of cash receipts, cash disbursements and wire transfers made in/out of the accounts.
+ Also must be able to reconcile the accounts to the monthly bank statements.
+ Accounts Receivable: review open and overdue accounts receivable and coordinate a collection schedule with marketing/customer for overdue balances.
+ Coordinate meeting with Sales and Aftermarket teams to support collection activities.
+ Collaborate with Internal control lead and support the processes and procedures to be reviewed/tested and analyzed, to verify compliance with corporate processes/procedures.
+ Perform such other accounting, financial, or administrative tasks as may be required from time to time.
What You Bring
+ Bachelors of Science in Accounting with knowledge of accounting principles, practices and procedures.
+ 4 years accounting experience a must.
+ Experience with payroll processing and/or experience with a large ERP System a plus.
+ Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office Programs.
+ Basic routine duties involving established procedures and mandatory due dates. Discretion must be used at all times due to confidentiality of payroll information.
+ Frequent/daily contact with divisional personnel and management.Occasional contact with external auditors, both Government and corporate, as well as customers regarding account balances.
