What would I do?

• Manage email traffic of incoming invoices.
• Review incoming invoices and route for approval.
• Track invoices through the internal AP process.
• Maintain accounting records in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) on assigned projects.
• Provide support for audits, which may include research and project reconciliations.
• Assist with review and entry of vendor and employee payments.
• Track open purchase orders and ensure completeness of accounts payable files.
• Perform additional assignments and/or duties, as directed by the Accounting Manager.
• Professionally interact with colleagues, members of the public, clients, and business associates.
• Comply with all company policies and applicable laws.

What experience and required qualifications do I need to be considered?

• BS Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent work experience.
• Knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
• Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office, especially Excel, and use of accounting software
• Self-starter, ability to work independently, take initiative, set priorities and see projects through to completion
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy of data and information
