TalentSource360 is seeking another real estate client within our portfolio in their search for a Senior Acquisitions Associate to join their team sourcing and managing the acquisition process for new investments within one of their growing asset classes. We are seeking a dynamic, results-oriented Acquisitions Associate or Manager with a passion for new market research and development. Our client is a growing real estate investment firm with strong funding and an immediate interest in structuring new deals in a number of key target markets.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and executing high-value investment opportunities across targeted markets. This role requires someone with deep knowledge of the real estate market, strong analytical capabilities, and a proven track record in sourcing and closing deals. This individual will collaborate closely with the executive team to shape the REIT's growth strategy and drive successful transactions that align with their investment goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the identification, evaluation, and sourcing of potential real estate acquisitions across targeted CRE asset classes (e.g., office, industrial, retail, mixed-use, land development).
- Establish and maintain a robust pipeline of acquisition opportunities through broker relationships, industry networks, and off-market sourcing strategies.
- Play a lead role in all aspects of the acquisition process, including underwriting, due diligence, financing, and deal structuring.
- Act as the primary point of contact for sellers, brokers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth transaction execution.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends and investment opportunities. Provide insightful analyses on market dynamics, including asset-specific, regional, and national trends impacting investment performance.
- Assist in the development and review of complex financial models to assess deal feasibility, projected returns, and alignment with REIT portfolio objectives.
- Collaborate with the executive team to define acquisition strategies that align with the REIT’s long-term objectives. Regularly review the REIT’s portfolio, providing recommendations for acquisitions, dispositions, or other strategic moves.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in real estate acquisitions, investment, or asset management, with a proven track record in executing successful deals in a REIT or similar investment structure.
- Demonstrated success in leading complex transactions from origination through close.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business, or related field. MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred
- Exceptional negotiation, analytical, and strategic-thinking skills.
- Robust understanding of real estate market dynamics, valuation methodologies, and portfolio management.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, and operations.
- Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team development and performance.
